Thinking about throwing a last minute road trip together to Thunder Beach bike week in Panama City about 10 days from now. Anyone ever been? Is it worth the trip?

Yes its worth the trip, lots to do both day and nights with a lot of entertainment around the beach. Your sure to have a great time.

I would say it's definitely worth the trip. Our first time there was the fall rally last year. The weather was perfect, the beach was beautiful, the riding was great, and they really put on a good event. The businesses and town were really welcoming. I've been to Daytona and a handful of other regional events, and IMO Thunder Beach is the best. We are camping out and Raccoon River campground. It can't get here soon enough!

 

Make sure you go to Angelo's Steak Pit. It is always a must eat when there. In my opinion I like Thunder beach more than bike week. We will be there from wed to sun.

 

Noticed that place when we were there. There always seemed to be a lot of people eating there in the evenings and we were wondering if it was any good. Might have to try it out.

 

It's always a great time no matter where you end up pretty easy to have a good time lot's of free music and reasonable prices on just about everything else.

 

Angelos is worth the wait if you want a good and BIG STEAK there big one is like 30 oz and i didnt mis type that lol
