Going to the sun road, red bus tour, all the roads around there are beautiful to ride. I am sure someone that has a more intimate knowledge will point out specific ones. I went when you didnt need a passport to cross in to Canada as there are some very scenic areas to ride that are the Canadian part, Waterton Lakes, of this magnificent park.
Heading to Glacier National Park the end of July, any must see or must do's while I'm out there? Thanks for your time
Glacier National Park doesn't have a lot of road in it so there isn't a whole lot of riding you can do in the park. How much time are spending in the area and which direction are you coming in from? Which way are you heading when you leave? GNP is right in my back yard.

We live in Whitefish Mt. The park is awesome, check out the park lodges . Lake McDonald , is really nice.Lots of wildlife good chance of seeing a Griz on the east side (Many Glacier). Whitefish has a lot of good eateries. Great rafting too! Whitefish Mt. Resort has a great zip line tour too!
About 10 miles up Going to the Sun road from Lake MacDonald is a really cool hike/walk called Trail of the Cedars. Most of it is on a boardwalk. There's another trail connected to the Cedars Boardwalk called Avalanche Creek that is really cool, too.

Theres also a very scenic route up to the Glacier park in Canada. Most people travel up to Banff from Calgary and head north to Jasper on the Glacier Hwy. From Jasper you can take the YellowHead Hwy to Edmonton. I find the most scenic route however is turning east at the Saskatchewan River Junction, though Nordeg and eventually Red Deer. This Glacier feeds water to 3 of the worlds oceans and it is also receding fast.
Waterton is a definite go also Road to the Sun.
Staying in Essex at the Izaak Walton Inn 4 for days. Using that as a base to explore what we can. Thanks again!
