Lodging around Ticonderoga, NY ??
Five or six of us guys from Virginia are headed up to the New York lake region for a 4 day road trip in July. Day 1: Northern Va to ElmiraDay 2: Elmira to TiconderogaDay 3: Ticonderoga to Scranton, PaDay 4: Scranton to Northern Va.Have lodging reservations for everything except Saturday evening around Ticonderoga. Apparently the Best Western there only does 2 day stays at that time of year on the weekends.Anyone familiar with the area have a suggestion for a nice place to stay. Perferably with a restaurant and lounge on the premises. Within walking distance if not on site. Thanks for any input
