Crimea Ride.
I thought it will be intresting for some of you to know how we rides here in Russia, Belorussia and Ukraine. Please forgive me for my english, I just try to study it by writing here.
My wife and I decided to ride to south of Ukraine about couple months ago. It's a beautiful place called Crimea. Sea, sun and mountains are everything we needed after long russian winter. My frends said: Dude, we join you!
So, we started from Moscow at April-30.
Day 1.

Is it Harley? Can I touch it?
It was a rainy day. But we rides more then 500 km and arrived to Voronezh. While we rided my brother got wobbling on 80 mp/h. I saw it in mirrors and thought he falling down but he kept his bike on the road. Troubles has began.
I haven't any fotos from there because we didn't went anywhere from hotel.
Day 2.
It was a beautiful morning! Sun shined high, some clouds flied in the sky!
My brother on VTX 1800 (left) and me on FXD (right)

But my Harley turned off his engine on 75 mp/h. I tried to turn to roadside and fell down. My brother stoped and helped me to raise my bike. But Harley won't start.
Fixing the Harley

We lost about 3 hours while disassembling-assembling carb and changing battery. It was realy hard but cognitive ).
At least we fixed problem and rided again. This highway (russian M4) is in very good condition and we kept 80-90 mp/h all the way to Krasnodar.

Day 3.
This day started from trouble: FXD didn't start again. But we knew this problem and just fixed battery bolts.
Look, dude, here's Dyna battery:

One more guy on Sportster joined us in Krasnodar and we left this city. We stopped for a breakfast in cafe and one of girls felt an allergy attack! DAMN! We called Emergency Rescue and followed it to the hospital! We waited about 2 hours near hospital! Thanks God she was OK! It was really scared! Because of this accident we lated our ferryboat from Temruk. We waited next ferryboat about 4 hours! So, we arrived to our hotel in Koktebel only at 1 a.m.

Harley and mountains

Hello from Crimea!

Day 8.
Everything ends and we went back to Moscow. Damned Crimea roads! I thought my Dyna disasseml itself! At 200 km from Kharkov my friend GrossVovan on Kawasaki shot down my wife. I just saw her Nightster rided on left side! Thanks God both of them are OK!!! Bikes was not broken too much. I siad: OK, I have friends in Kharkov, let's left your bikes there and sent you by the train. But my wife siad: NO!!! I will not leave my Nighty alone! So, we bended handlebar and kept going. We arrived in Belgorod at 1 p.m. In the night again.
Day 9.
Final day - final troubles. My Harley has same problem again. WTF?! We fixed it! After 1.5 hours we found that problem was in gas tank cap. Bad gas spoiled rubber o-ring and air is not fed to gas tank. I deleted this o-ring and bike runs great! We rided 650 km at one breath! The road to home is the shortest road!
So, as you can see, we got everything: breakages, road accident, hospital, bad roads. But we will be back at Crimea again!
