I've been looking online at the different trailers out there for towing bikes. After 2 minutes they all start to look alike.
So, here's hoping you guys/gals might shed some light. I need to trailer my bike to Phoenix. I called Federal and they quoted $670.00. It would be cheaper to buy a trailer. Any experience with trailors and comments / suggestions?

Reason: moved to bs
If you're relocating... have you considered renting one way from U-Haul? Or you can buy a 5X10 utility trailer and sell it when you get there. I found them with a wood floor and fold up tail gate/ramp for around $1,000 new.
Had mine made 5' wide X 10' long (deck). 2" X 2" X 1/4" wall tubing on 2' centers, 1/8" tread plate weld down floor, 14ga tread plate fenders with 14ga weld on backs, 5,000 LB Bulldog coupler, Bulldog folding jack, Dexter 3,000lb 4" drop axle with EZ Lube hubs, 4" on 4.5" center X 15" mod wheels w/6py bias ply trailer tires. 4' wide X 6' long ramp, slides under floor from rear 1" X 2" X 1/8" tubing with raised expanded metal. 6,000 LB zink plated recessed rings, LED Lights.
$1,400.00 and some change. It's a real solid piece.

A few years ago I bought an Aluma landscape trailer that I mounted a Condor wheel chock in the center. I could mount two more chocks if I needed to tow two bikes.
When I retired I moved three bikes, my whole garage full of tools and basement workshop on that trailer on four trips.
My point is that buying the high end trailer was worth it because there was no way a $700. Harbor Freight special could have safely handled the load. You get what you pay for. Motorcycle specialty trailer or standard landscape model, only trust your bikes life to something up to the task.
BTW, I had checked out that Nomamco too. It's well built and a winner.
Here is my two cents. I bought a nice open 3 motorcycle trailer. I love it, but here is the thing. After trailering the bike through bad weather or just the average dust accumulation, I spend at least an hour cleaning the bike just to ride. My buddy has a fully enclosed trailer and grins while watching me polish all the paint and chrome again. A fully enclosed is a smart option for its multi purpose applications. Just my two cents . FT
Think what you get with an enclosed trailer.Storage shed, garage, anti theft, out of the weather, camper in a pinch and like zero depreciation,What's not to like?If you got money get all aluminum, tandem and 7X14.
