Default Heading to Branson, MO

Well I have the bike all loaded up and am leaving for Branson in the morning, going solo. It's about 340 miles from where I live and it's gonna be 90 degrees and sunny. No rain in the forecast here in KS or in MO while I am gone. Only have one ride "planned" and that is riding down to Eureka Springs on Sunday afternoon to ride the Pig Trail. The other days I am just gonna hop on the bike and go wherever the road takes me.

I've only had my RK for about 6 weeks, so this is my first decent trip. Can't wait to see how she handles and a long ride. If anyone else is in the area, send me a pm and we can do some riding. I'm heading back to KS on Monday.

See ya in a few days.

NW Arkansas is a great place to ride.
Hwy 7 is great, but there are some other nice roads.

Hwy 12 out of Rogers runs into Hwy 23, one of the best roads on my list.
In the morning you stay in the shade because of the trees.

If you run down Hwy 23 north of Huntsville, there is a side detour you can take through Withrow State Park.
A nice little side trip ( only a few miles ). It's off Hwy 23 and comes right back to Hwy 23.

Check out my website in my tag for more information in this area.

Rode a Sportie down to Green Forest AR a few years ago on Labor Day. That was only about 20 or 30 miles away from Eureka Springs.

The great thing about Branson is that there are people performing that I thought were dead.

Thats funny. I was in a band and we played there for 5 years. A lot of good riding during the day. Paul Revere used to say, "This is where old people bring their parents to have fun"....

Aint it the truth,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

I was listening to Unchained Melody the other day, and thinking it is one of the greatest songs ever. Thank your Dad for me. I have had many good times listening to that song. My kids (25, 27) love the Righteous Bros too, and Paul Revere and the Raiders. I'm gonna go to Branson.
