I29 thru Iowa closures
was checking out routes to Sturgis this year and was wondering about road closures on I29 in Iowa. We usually ride to Clear Lake IA and stay the nite, went to DOT website and it's showing a bunch of closures and detours on I29 due to flooding. How's the traffic thru that area, or should we take an alternate route (I90 west) instead. Thanx

I29 was closed south of Sioux city a few weeks ago when I was there for awesome biker nights (good time). I would hope the river would go down in the next month. The states dot website should update closures fairly often. Have one in sturgis for me gotta pass this year
