A good point... That's why my annual Illinois trip is taken in early June every year - typically still on the cooler side at that time!

bjewell - 10 Ultra if it is all super slab. An 08 Buell Ulysses if it envolves dirt/gravel roads like the Alaskan Highway.

The Buell is just as comfortable as the Ultra. Did several legs over 850 miles on it.
