Can anyone recommend hotels that are near the action? I see there are many stops near the shuttlebus route. What is the "American village"? Thanks in advance, from American guy in France!

There are buses that will run you from town up to the rally, and around the different spots
on the lake. It's Austria so everyone is everyone is very **** and it's quite well organized.
The rally is actually broken into several sections, hence the villages.. the American village
is set up to display American culture, albeit with a European twist.
I went in '09.... it's not Sturgis, but it's not bad.
