Went with TerrySC to find this place Sunday. I went back today, Monday for the Sunset shots. Who needs to ride all the way to the Dragon? This is 25 minutes from the House!
******......Some great pics.......I have found some great riding as well within 5-6 hours from Home!! no need to to bother with the traffic at the dragon............although I must say Gatlinburg area is a very nice trip in this hole area...Stone mountain Ga. alot of back roads in North and South Carolinas!

Care to share a little more info on the road number? I can't really tell where this may be on the NC atlas I have other than somewhere off highway 9 but it sure looks inviting.
Yea just a couple of miles down 108 from hwy 9 towards Columbus. Look for Huston Road on the right going towards Columbus. White Oak Mtn Rd is off Huston Rd. Be glad to give ya a guided tour of the area. Shoot me a PM if ya interested.

I'm going to try to get back up there soon and go up Skyuka Mountain Rd and take White Oak Mountain back down. Probably this weekend. Give me a shout and maybe we can hook up.
