Laughlin via Grand Canyon

Laughlin via Grand Canyon
I plan on taking 4 days to go from So. Cal to Laughlin. It's normally a 350 mile ride but going to turn it into 1000+ by going via the Grand Canyon. Plan on camping in Valley of Fire, North Rim and South Rim then into Laughlin. Would appreciate any tips on camping, stuff not to miss on this route, etc.

Valley of Fire nice check out Overton(not much there but get you on the LSR) Can pitch a tent there also just as you head south towards LSR . Lost city in Overton cool while you are there http://www.sugarshomeplate.com/ and run Lake Shore Road down to Boulder City on your way to Laughlin, or Grand Canyon South.
