Hawaii trip
Going to see the Navy Boy in July--Hawaii---looking to rent a bike for a day--anyone done this and have any idea about the best shop to use--Thanks---and hey--Airplanes suck--lol

I have never rented a bike but the only place I see that rents is Cycle City. They are a HD Authorized Rental dealership. I assumed you are going to Oahu, since you said your son is in the Navy. Watch out for that Honolulu traffic! It can get nasty! A lot of people jammed packed onto that small island. If you stay west of Honolulu you should be fine. It would be great ride a motorcycle up to the North shore and head to the East side. Beautiful scenery!

I have bikes rented with cycle city for an upcoming trip to Hawaii (Oahu & Maui). Made the reservations online and have spoken with them once.
They were recommended to me by a friend that lives on Oahu.

Hawaii Trips...
For you guys heading to Hawaii, I was stationed on Oahu for a couple of years (up island and not at Pearl Harbor) and know all the ins and outs if anyone needs advice. My father, also a rider, is retired and lives on Maui and is a member of the Hawaii Hog chapter so if you need any help on that island, let me know and I can put you in contact with him for rentals or rides or whatever you may need.
