108 is a great ride. I used live in Groveland, CA just off 120. A loop up 120, through Yosemite to 395 then back over 108 made for a great day ride. A couple of 9,000+ foot passes through the Sierras down to around 2,000 feet coult take you through a range of temps of 100+ to the 30's some days.
