What a great way to share your trips. You can see by the smile on your wife that she is having a blast. I like the yellow bug splat picts, I took a trip out to montana and I swear my pants could stand on their own with all the bugs imbedded in them. Keep the writeups coming and be safe.
I like your photos, you didn't feel compelled to buy a Road King after your Hawaii trip
I did really like the Road King. Maybe one day we will change over to a Touring model, but for now the Heritage is paid off and we still enjoy it. Wish it had cruise control, but oh well
I have an '08 Heritage classic like your and an '09 Ultra Classic and I just can't find it in my heart to get rid of either one. Oh well, maybe someday?

Do you like the Heritage or the Ultra better? Your lucky to have 2 nice bikes like that. Maybe one day I'll have an around town bike (striped down maybe a night train) and a touring bike. Who knows, but I feel lucky just to have 1 for now
Very cool. We are touring your area as I type. DC this weekend and Skyway, BRP, and Cherahola after that. I'll check out your links for tips!
Cool!, we live in Arlington couple miles right outside D.C. Are you going to have time to see any memorials or anything like that? We are gearing up for our next road trip so not sure our plans for this weekend but it would be cool to meet you guys. Not sure you're plans so no pressure. There's a lot to do here so there might have to be multiple trips to see it all. BRP is really nice, I'm itching to go back, and we have been on Skyline many times(one of my wife's favorite places).
