theres plenty to see there. If youve ever dont the bike rally there its the same just not so many bikes. Down on main street theres lots of bike stuff. Best thing to do is get a map of last years event map and have a blast. Worlds biggest harley shop. Daytona speed way and lots of great places to ride and see. have a blast.
PS Be careful if you go through Jacksonville .
Your about a 3-4 hour ride (depending on traffic thru Orlando) from getting to the Gulf...You should really make the trip...It's a completely different beach on the Gulf side. Hit St. Pete...Check out the Don Cesar Hotel, have a drink on the top deck at Hurricanes, or go for a wade in the Gulf....It's all good.
Also, If you like airplanes, check out Fantasy of Flight in 'Orlampa'. It's just off I-4 between Orlando and Tampa (hence Orlampa). Kinda cool if you like old 'junk' that's still flying. Wifeand I took a ride in a 30's era open cockpit bi-plane...Lotta fun.
Depending on how long you are going to be in FL, the ride to the Keys and KeyWest is something that you might wanna consider. The ride across seven mile bridge is worth the trip. But...It's a good days ride down there from Daytona-Jump ontothe turnpike when you canand just hammerit to the end. That'll takearound 4 hours. Thentake the Two-Lane which is another 3-4 hours depending on traffic, construction, how often you stop, and how fast you ride. Makereservations before you go, especially if you plan on staying in Key West as the hotels and B&B's fillup in advance. I'd recommend staying two nights.
