Default North Dakota

I'm from Winnipeg, Canada and I'm wondering if anyone knows of any good routes to travel in North Dakota. I'm looking for a one or two days cruise.

Not sure of good routes, but stay away from Williston area.....crazy busy with oilfield vehicles. Went through there on the way to Sturgis, and that is the last time I'm going through there. Reminded me of FT.McMurray in Alberta.............

The eastern side of the state is nothing to brag about. lots of straight roads and fields. if you venture east into MN there is some really nice areas south of International Falls. Head towards Ely, Big Falls, Grand Rapids.

If your dead set on ND, maybe the Pembina River gorge, and the Sheyenne River Valley south of Valley city is nice ride, but short.

I live in Moorhead, MN a suburb of Fargo, ND.

I have only traveled the south west portions of North Dakota. There are some areas where there is no cell/radio service and long stretches between gas stations. I was on secondary roads. I learned NOT to pass up a fuel stop, even with 6 gallon tanks. Have you considered Montana ? Awesome scenery there, too. Have a great trip !

I would recommend Minnesota for a good ride from the Peg. ND is more boring than Manitoba for riding. Take #12 across the border at Warroad, MN. Then head to Bemidji or Brainerd. Then loop up to international falls and the back side of Lake of the Woods to Kenora, then home. Have done it a few times, a nice 2 day ride.
