Hi all Im putting together a road trip to the States for a group of us from Nth Queensland Australia . So far all we have decided is we are flying into Las Vegas on the 28 of july and we have rented bikes for 30 days returning back to Vegas on 29 august.
We are going to Sturgis and we also want to do The Harley factory and Route 66.
We would appreceate any advice as to things to see ,roads to ride ,places to stay and general knowledge. All advice will be read and we will try to put together a great trip.
Thanks all safe riding.
I'm assuming the general route will be Vegas to Sturgis to Milwaukee back to Vegas, with many detours between? You could probably head north from Milwaukee, over the Mackinac Bridge, cross over into Canada and ride to Niagra Falls, then through Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana, and to Chicago, then down Route 66 back to Vegas. That's probably what I'd do.
