Central NJ to Upcountry SC via BRP
Hey guys im new here and lookin for some help. im going to be takin a trip this summer (solo) from nj to skyline drive/BRP/tail of the dragon and then to the upcountry SC. probably sometime end of june/early julyand im planning on makin it to the top of skyline drive the first day, call it a night then go down farther to the parkway and ride that slow...stop for the night, then into tn and spend a night and then to SC to visit family. if anyone can help me out wiht places to stay/ gas stops/food places etc it would be appreciated. if anyone would like to link up also and ride together thats cool too. i dont know much about the area except i drove 81 in my truck through thenightand loved it its so nice so i figured ill ride it on the bike. thanks in advance!

Craka, keep me posted (I'll watch the thread) as I'm making the same trip early July, going to Gaitlinburg from NYC. I'll start at the Outterbridge and figure I'd make Front Royal in a day also. The next days ride on Skyline should prove to be relaxing, did it in a Miata in 2000, wish I had taken my Bike instead.

hey FLH im goin mem day wknd and comin back the next weekend. im plannin front royal first night. then skyline the next day and some of the blue ridge pkwy. the third day the rest of the the BRP and then to see family in SC. then a friend of mine from sc is goin to the smokies with me to do the cherohala skyway and some other roads. ill have pics when i come back.
