Default HOG Rallies

I'm considering doing HOG's Ride the Rockies rally in June. I've never done a HOG rally. Most often solo tour. Is it worth going with the group or would I be happier doing the Rockies by myself. I'm in South Georgia and never been out west, so a group tour may not be a bad thing.

Don't bother with H.O.G.
They just want your money.

Want a rally that sounds MUCH BETTER?

HOG Rally is $180 and what do you get for that, another T-shirt and pin! Have been on a couple HOGtouring Rallies. They always lead you to a dealer(more T-shirts) andtell you how much fun you are going to have. They give you a route to take and don't point out interesting stops or fun places along the route. Most of the fun comes from the people you travel with. Look into another rally or doing it with friend on your own.

HOG also has a Rally in up State NY for about the same money. If you are thinking about coming north look into www.killingtonclassic.com only around $50 to register and plenty to do. We went a 2004 and are going back again this year. If you are thinking of going let me know maybe we cam meet someplace. Our group is fun but over 50 and havebeen riding together on and off formore years that we want to remember! We always welcome another rider to our group.

Thanks Moe. I had considered the NY ride as a plan B. I will be doing the ride with my 10 year old son and thought a sidetrip to OCC would turn him on. I'm 45 myself so I wouldn't be too much trouble. I'll let ya know.
