Road Trip Failure...
Once you are on the clock everything is 100X. You are worrying about every minute. I was having a bad morning with everything going south and I was feeling the pressure. I just screwed up and it was a costly mistake.
I was too busy worrying about the severe thunderstorms that were 11 hours in the future. I was sidetracked by the receipt and address and I wasn't paying attention to what I was doing.
My bad... But damn there was a lot of thing out of my control happening at the same time.
What I learned:
American Express will send you a card the next business day. I had it Monday.
Citibank Visa will send you a card when they are damn well ready to. Don't count on it. And I still haven't received it.
The person that found a wallet with $500 in it kept the money and ditched the wallet.
You need your birth certificate, tax form and another bill sent to your address through the postal service to get a replacement driver's license in Florida. (not exaggerating) I haven't found time to go stand in line yet.
I believe my Spot Tracker is truly lost because if anyone turns it on it will ping and give me the location and no ping yet.
At least I had time to change out my rear tire to a new high mileage Michelin.

What's the route for the BBG that you've planned?? Sounds like you're okay doing it solo. I did my one and only Saddle sore 1600 (1000mi) run solo, but would really like to do a BBG. Afterall I need something to talk about on the forum next winter. lol.
Take pictures of everything in your wallet, then you know what you lost.
I've been doing it for years and haven't needed it yet. I know if I stop taking pictures of the contents when they change, then I'll lose the darn thing.
Florida turnpike north from until it terminates at I-75
I-75 north to I-10
I-10 west to Pass Christian MS
grab my turnaround receipt and head home.
1530 miles.
