Wife and I just got our first Harley. A 1993 FLHS and we then got news that her mother was sick. So on 09-19-2013 we packed up the Bike and took off. From Battle Creek, Mi to Noble, Ok via I-57 to I-55 to I-40. Ran into a ellava Thunder Storm just 70 Miles from home and had to get a hotel. Next day was light rain almost all day. Day 3 we ran from Sikeston, Mo to Noble, Ok with a Perfect Sunny day. Spent about a week there while her mom had Medical appointments. Then took back roads from Noble, Ok to Broken Bow, Ok. We spent another 2 Weeks there helping out around her house and bringing her Mother back to Oklahoma City, Ok for one more Doctors appointment. We finally left on 10-10-2013 and headed back home to Battle Creek, Mi.
We had bought the Harley on 09-11-2013. Had the Oil Changed just before we left and only had to add a quart of oil during the trip...Approx. 2275 Miles and ZERO problems. and even during the 2 days of rain, the wife never griped once. Think i better keep her.
