there is also a cooper's b-b-q in new braunfels...across the street from gruene h-d. the cooper's in llano is not affiliated with the other ones. besides the original salt lick b-b-q south of austin, there is now one in round rock out by the ball park. there are a number of rudy's b-b-q in texas.

 

Loco Coyote in Glen Rose, NE of HICO is a well-kept-secret BBQ joint. Get there by 11am on the weekends, sit back and relax. If you're in a rush go somewhere else.
Also, Horny Toad Bar and Grill in Cransfills Gap (east of Hamilton) is a great place to stop and relax.

OST in Bandera is a great place for breakfast. We were there couple weeks ago for Thunder in Hill Country Rally..
