Cross Canada Trip

Wow that will take some getting used to, but I will try to watch the speed. Would you happen to have any info on the availability of hotel/motel rooms? My main sticking points are cleanliness and a well maintained property even if it's older.

Rode the Cabot Trail today, and it was awesome! Many people had suggested I ride it counter clockwise and that's what did, the views were amazing. Tomorrow I will ride it clockwise and then head over to north Sydney to catch the overnight ferry to Newfoundland. New post with plenty of pics should be live in an hour or so

I enjoy reading about your adventures, so I've decided to try
and plan my own off beat trip for next year.
ride 250 to 300 miles everyday
find a golf course
and play 18 holes.
14 days, 14 courses
find a motel and plan tomorrow's trip.
probably looping around the Midwest.

Great report man. I've yet to visit the Maritime Provinces and it's pretty high on my want to's. I had to laugh at the pic of Anne's house as I often say that is my reason to ride back there. Most guys go, "who's house?" No freakin' culture I guess.

Good read. Sounds like a good trip. I still want to ride across this country of ours. I'm contemplating the IBA Vancouver to Halifax ride, but It's nice to see the whole thing too.
I've got a bit of a trip planned yet again this year. We leave next Friday.
I checked the date, your last log was for yesterday, so I look forward to seeing how you return.
Me, I'd consider going for a US leg, maybe see some of the eastern seaboard there. Their gas is cheaper too.

Trip is nearing an end, spending this weekend with friends in the Tri-Cities before heading home. It's been sensory overload but totally worth it. Reality is gonna suck lol

trip is over, got home last night. i'm already looking forward to next year's trip, and the day rides for the rest of the summer. hope those of you following along enjoyed it, cya on the road
