SD 44 ride report needed

SD 44 ride report needed
considering SD 44 out to sturgis this year from just below Sioux falls to rapid city. anyone have current road conditions, construction, furthest distance between good gas 89 or higher. getting tired of I-90. anything else that might be helpful. Cell phone coverage or lack there of? or SD 46/43/18 thanks in advance.

Once I got to SD, I started heading toward Sturgis via Rte. 50 from Yankton, SD. This was a few years back and I didn't have a map or GPS. I had a compass and just followed my nose so to speak. I ended up somewhere west of the Missouri but damned if I recall how I got there.
The last time I went to Sturgis I took the southern route all the way across SD. Picked up 18 just south of S. Falls into Hot Springs. It was a damn good ride.
