Default Sturgis 2014

Hadn't plan to go this year, but a buddy wanted to go and didn't want to go alone so I said I'd go with him. Leaving Sunday afternoon when he gets off of work and ride as far as we can. Should be able to do from Bloomfield to Pueblo, CO, maybe even Colorado Springs, and then on in to Sturgis Monday.

Ride N Rest campground on Hwy 79. Close enough to Buffalo Chip, Glencoe and Full Throttle for my buddy to get his fill of the wild, and still be a little quite for old farts like me.

Hoping to be able to show my bud the Rocky Mountain Park on the way home if we get all the Sturgis stuff done earlier enough.

Hwy 34 out of Estes Park to the Alpine Visitor Center is a fantastic ride in Rocky Mountain National Park.

Have fun in Sturgis.

Just made it home. Didn't get to do Rocky Mountain National. He wanted to go to Pikes Peak instead. We did that today. Really good weather except for the 38 degrees at the top.

Rest of the trip was great with good weather and good fun.
