My 2022 CVO RG came equipped with the Rockford stage 2 audio. The system sounds better than I expected, much better than Boom stage 2. The screen and hand controls work as they should but I cannot get the HD Audio App Powered by Rockford to link to the bike.
I’ve watched a couple of YouTube videos and they refer to using the app when installing the system, not the system from the factory. Looks like a few features on the app that would be good to set the eq on the system. Did not see any instructions in the Boom manual.
So is the factory installed system supposed to link to the app and if so how?
Mine has a Bluetooth dongle that is what isnused
to connect
to Harley app
You don't need a dongle/app to go from RF Stage I to Stage II. You already have the amp so you just need to put the stage II speakers in it. You will have to take it to the dealer to get it flashed. That's what I did to my 22 CVO Tri Glide, which came with RF Stage I and no dongle.

I watched the video and everything is hooked up correctly. Bluetooth harness and dongle. I cannot see the bluetooth dongle in the app. I have tried accessory mode and while running the bike. There is a switch on the wiring harness and I have tried switching it and holding it for three seconds. Still nothing. 2022 Road Glide Limited CVO. Any suggestions would be great.
@Smokey11, thanks. I got it. I gave up yesterday and was gonna take it to the dealer. As I was zip tying wires I found a loose connection. After correcting it everything worked. This forum has been great. Vey helpful with this other requests.
Well, happy days are here again. Finally got it working and it stayed working. For the final and last time, I disconnected everything and started fresh. Hooked the saddlebag connection up, hooked the positive up and then the negative to the battery, put the 40 amp fuse in, then I connected all the wiring for the Bluetooth dongle. Deleted the HD Audio App and then re downloaded it. all the other times I just put the bike in accessory mode to turn it on and do the setup,
but not this time. I started the bike up, opened up the app and when thru all the setup on the app and it recognized the second amplifier. Shut it down for five seconds to cycle it and restarted it and all is good. Went for a short ride and Supertramp has never sounded so good. Wow. I feel like the weight of the world come off my back. I am one happy camper now. Thanks for all your suggestions and interest. That's why I like this forum.
Help? So I followed all instructions and also in this thread…I have the secondary amp installed and the dongle, I DO NOT have the 350b connector hooked up as I can’t find its mate, so what your saying is the secondary amp is Bluetooth via the dongle? I can’t get it find the amp and I have no sound output
