Scorpio security system
I don't have the HD security system and wanted to get something. I am assuming that the Scorpio system is a stand alone and does not depend on the HD security system like the Smart Siren II and Pager option. By the time I spend $270 on the HD system, another $89 on the SS II and $69 on the pager I could get the Scorpio for less money and an easier self installation. From what I have been reading the Scorpio is at least as good as the HD and maybe better and does everything and then some as the HD system. Does anybody see any problems with what I am saying? Thanks in advance for your feedback.

I have their previous generation system called the ThunderPager. It is better than the HD system - it costs less, I installed it and maintain the sensors myself, it has more standard features, Aritronix customer service is GREAT, etc., etc. Go for it!
