I have an fuel injected 06 Electra Glide Standard with Rush True Dual Head Pipes and a Power Commander III. I love the head pipes and because of this, during the long cold winter I am going to add Rush mufflers and am wondering what are the differences in the baffles 1.5" through 2.5". I am looking for loud pipes but good performance. I tried to listen to the sound clips on the web site but can't tell the difference(Old Computer with bad speakers and just bad hearing). I ride both two up and solo, probably a 50/50 split. Also how often do you have to replace the baffles and do you need to purchase the heat shields or is the standard chrome muffler bodies enough? Thanks for all your assistance.

A long cold winter it is... thanks for your continued support of Rush.
The 1.5" baffle is our most restrictive and only slightly louder than stock mufflers. The 2.5" is the most aggressive/loudest. For your setup, most people are happy with the 2.00". It has a deep tone and our best overall performing baffle size on an '06 bagger. Some who do long rides or are mainly two up prefer the 1.75" because it mellows out just a bit more at highway cruising speeds. Both have a nice deep tone at idle that is not overbearing... but you will get you noticed if you crack the throttle. No need to ever replace the baffles except to change the sound. No need for heatshields, our muffler shells have a show quality chrome finish that will match your true duals.
