Does some one can let me know how can i talke to some one to make a warranty claims (global); the local dealer in Panama is not paying attention to my current situation.
Thanks in advance for some suppor that i can get from some of you.
Hey the left side bag fell off and is hammered. Any one tip over on the right side and wanna trade your good left for my good right? Or is there a better place to post this message? help? Or a place I can buy one salvage?
This happened to me, Harley will not warranty it.
I was quoted 1200 bucks ...
Let me know what you come up with, I'm thinking of having Mine replace with hard bags.
The bags appear to be "locked in" although they aren't totally...you find out they aren't when the pop off....I just ordered a replacement left side. $991 total. Takes 10 days to get it. I do still have the old one if somebody needs parts...The Shell and the hinges, the attachment points and locking mech and all that are still good...the leather and the reflector etc are damaged.
I did look at Viking hard bags $449 each and of course I would need two to match both sides and they would not be quick release. Harley had me by the *****...oh well
Yeah, the bag mechanisms are a bit tricky. I've put mine on wrong a couple of times. Thankfully I noticed before taking off for a ride. I feel your pain...
