I wouldn't trust it more than 25-30 miles as OEM gas gauges are notoriously inaccurate. Put some gas in a small carry can and then when you hit "Lo" sometime ride it until......

I apologize. I totally forgot that I was in the CVO Sub-forum. Excuse me. My bad. There's absolutely no need to put fuel in the tank because it's a CVO damn it!

I have a galllon or so fits in the saddle bag sure stinks up the place. Ive gone 35 miles on ave after lo appears. So 250 is my common range. The blue ridge pkw has 45 speed limit and corners every half mile I was well over 300. was just wondering how many ppl ran theirs down to the lo icon too.

Depends on your fuel mileage and how far you want to push it. When the fuel light comes on hit your mileage reset on your speedo until the miles until empty shows up. On mine its about 40 miles.

I was talkin about when range goes to "Lo" which is about 30 miles after fuel light comes on. I can go awhile after that. just wondering if others knew that was possible.
Not sure exactly how much is left. I have rode 15 miles after the lo appears. I was concerned but did not run out of gas. The most I have ever put in the tank was 6.1 gallons. I was starting to sweat though.
Around 25 miles left is around when the LO shows up.
If the light comes on I'm hunting fuel.
