Those of you who own a CVO may agree with me on this.
Just left my Local Dealership, they always want to sell me a new bike, I am an impulse buyer, I see something I like and I buy it.
Ok, the RG CVO current model has a few things that just don't trip the buy me switch, where did the stretch bags go? what the hell is that bulb-as chrome thing in the middle of the gas tank?
So, I ask, can I get stretch bags and the clean tank? I get swiftly moved to the Street Glide, Like this? the guy asks, yes, like that but on the Road Glide.
And preferably without the radiators in front of my legs.
The only RG CVO for 2015 is a CVO Ultra. I don't believe any Ultra CVO's have had the stretched bags or fenders including the CVO Electraglides, that's probably what you saw.
Rode the CVO Ultra and the CVO Street Glide and went with the Street Glide. After numerous Road Glides,Road Kings I can honestly say this is the best bike I have ever ridden. Only negative is that this bike is going to get me in trouble
I prefer the frame mounted fairing, I know this is preference but it's mine.
I just wonder why they chose not to produce what I consider to be the cleaner version of glide. The Ultra is a nice enough bike however, it is a heavier looking bike. If the dealer is correct, there won't be much change in the 16 models that are due out soon.
For several years the RG CVO (like mine) has been very popular and an option for those of us who were not ready to go Ultra style.
