Your bike is built. Is your buddy's still stock?
Yes it is... he just wanted to see how it would do against a built 103.... Right now, according to him, HD will only honor the warranty on cams, exhaust and a tune....My post wasn't a slam on the new CVOs at all... I love the things you get with them which is why I'll be trading mine in next year.
I will say that my 07 ultra will outrun a new CVO Ultra.. A chapter brother bought one and we had to try it. I'll be trading my 07 in on a new CVO in July but it is going to have to have some work to run like mine.
And my V-Rod will out run them both but is that really the point ?
I would say yes it's worth it. I spent at least 10 grand each on my 03 Road King and my 07 Road King getting them where I wanted with cams, suspension upgrades, chrome stuff, transmission swaps ect. With the CVO I don't feel a need to change a thing. I just ride the wheels off of it.
My other bike is a Busa.... So it's not about being super fast, but I want a bike to run like I want it to run. I agree it's worth the extra $$ for a CVO.
They are if you look at it like this! How much are people spending on west coast choppers or OCC bikes! And look at what you are getting for the money compared to those bikes! Not such a bad deal when you look at it that way now is it? Just saying

So are you thinking of finding a leftover '16 or going to wait for the '17 to come out? What do you like in this years lineup? I know of guys that saved over $5k on leftover '15 models in the last couple of months.

I'll be looking for a left over 16. Have my ex-wife paid off in June so financially it works out. I'll get a new bike and not affect my budget at all. Hopefully I'll be able to find a gray Ultra. I really like the yellow 15 Ultra and there are 2 here locally for about $33k but it would make the budget too tight right now. Chapter brother bought the black/red (orange in the sunlight).

What is this 15 yellow ultra that you speak of? You say they have 2 here! Please tell me where the 2 yellow one's are I really would like to see them. Thanks for the info

Good morning,
As of last week, Myers Duren HD in Tulsa OK, had 2 yellow and black 20105 CVO Ultras. They had them priced at $33k or $34k.
Sent you a PM as well.
