I'm exploring the market for 2012 CVO Ultras.
Have seen a number of seeming 'Garage Queens' with quite low miles.
I'm interested in hearing any of your experiences/concerns with this particular year of CVO.
Warranty issues ? (i've noted a bunch of 110" heads on ebay & am hoping they're all from earlier MO's)
Recall issues ?
Since the '12s are out of warranty i'm wanting to get an idea of what other owners experienced with this model year.
thanks
Just traded my 12 Ultra last summer with 43k, I had a problem with the lifters at 22k while on a trip out west. Other than that it ran great every day no other issues.
The biggest problem regardless the model year of the CVO bikes, is the lifters. IIRC, the 2012 model year had a problem with the regulator not charging.
Something is fishy there GroupW? 2012 CVO?
There was no Road Glide in a CVO for that year. You thinking about getting out of the "TANK"?
I traded my 2012 CUSE7 last year with 45K on the odometer . In three years I had front wheel bearing , seat (stitching tore out)and regulator replaced under warranty .My radio head unit was replaced under ESP . That one hurt , radio crapped out on the 2nd day of a 6000 + mile ride . Three weeks of no music L. Still it was/is a great bike .
