Default To ride it or pamper it?

I have been seeing many CVO bikes up to and including 10 model years old with almost no miles on the clock.
Every bike I've owned I ride as much as possible.
This also includes my 16 limited CVO. I should call it a season this year with close to 19k miles on her in only 7 months.
Does anyone else ride their CVO to rack up the miles or do you try and keep the miles off?

Before the pick up truck totaled it, my Screamin' Eagle Road Glide had 142,000 miles on it. Now that it's a rebuilt "Screamin' Eagle Road King , it's got another 18,000 miles on the clock.

Neither, I have no goal in mind other than enjoy each ride.

Many things going on, so i just try and plan a ride that i will enjoy and hope the other things in life don't prevent it from happening.

Miles are not important, just some quality time to get away and cruise the most scenic roads.

The reason that you see so many high dollar CVO bikes with ultra-low mileage(s) on them is the fact that there are a ****-load of what some of us refer to as "Wallet Bikers" in the market place that only purchase a HD motorcycle so they can impress their friends of either sex and then they never ride it enough only because they just have way too much disposable cash that they just don't know what to do with. Or once they actually get on it and ride it a bit are scared ****-less.

It's not like the old days when you could sell a one or two year old H-D and replace it with a new one with pocket change (almost).

You (we) may as well ride our money out of them 'cause we're gonna take a hit on resale value.

I thought that I'd hit 30,000 miles on the odometer on my '13 CVO this season bit it's starting to look like that it may not happen.

I pamper my bikes but I do ride them.

A friend said the reason you see a lot of low mileage bikes for sale, people will buy them and ride to Sturgis. When Sturgis is over they sell them.
