Looking to replace to stock seat on my springer, and apparently Corbin can't make me a seat to fit, anyone have any ideas ouside of recovering the existing seat I am looking for a solo style seat or a dual touring. Thanks
Greetings,
Bought a SE Road King about three weeks ago. Replaced the stock seat with flames with a Mustang Black Studded Smooth Touring Seat (about $350). Put about 300 miles on this seat. Very nice. Original seat was uncomfortable after about one hour in saddle. After riding a few hours with original, I would be sore the next day. No issues with new seat. Black studs help keep the "bling" going with all the other chrome. Passengers love the seat. Seat is so thick that the strap between rider and passenger has to be removed.Strap will be about four inches short. Seat will let you sit a little higher which I like.
My reccomendation is to go for it. You will not look back.
Take care,
