Paid MSRP and for the record the price bump on all the 18 CVO’s IMO already has the markup LOL.

local dealer here said they only had 6 coming in.. only 2 RG and both have been deposited at over MSRP...its funny how the tides have changed and everyone wants the RG now...most of us who have owned one been saying this for years...looks like i will be keeping my current scoot because these blood suckers need to overprice every new model..

Its probably smart to wait for the 2019 model year. I'm hearing of too many motor issues on the M8 1st generation motors.

YEP, I have said before, and will say it again.

I liked it better when there where ONLY a few of us Road Glide riders around and everyone road Street Glides!!!

It truly was a Secert Society then. Now all the Batwingers that swore up and down they would never be caught on a "SHARK" are jumping on the bandwagon and into the "TANK"!

Silverstreetglide that is my favorite 18 cvo. I never liked the older style sharks but I do like the new design of the shark. Only thing is my wife would kill me if I trade my 16 cvo sg for a 18 cvo rg. I do love my bike though and would take a big change for me to get rid of it.

Thank you for the nice comments. And yeah I know the wife is a challenge on presenting a mans love for motors LOL. And I have to say I have been on the fence to buy a Road Glide since 2013 and have come close to buying one. And I just love the new look, paint scheme and change up on riding style. This time around I did not even test ride her before I purchased her. I literally trailered my SG to the dealer and had them give me a number. Then left my trailer and bike there since I was just way too busy in my schedule to hang around and go back and forth. Later that day they called me with numbers and told them I’d think about it. Meanwhile I called my favorite dealer and talked to a good friend and GM of the the dealer and told him numbers. He felt like it was a good deal and would love to sell me one as well but the color availability was late this year or early next year for him. Later that day I called the dealer and said I will take the deal. Drove back the next day and picked her up on Saturday this weekend the 14th. Trailered her Home and then actually rode her and can honestly say she is a exciting ride and truly engineered to IMO the best yet of HD engineering. And the factory exhaust when you get on it is very nice.
So summing it up don’t ride the RG LOL if the wife is gonna put her foot down. It’s all good and I truly hope your wife sees what you will see and hope for anyone here to have an opportunity to enjoy the RG CVO or non CVO.

San Diego Harley had a $7k markup on a CVO Ultra Limited. They also had a $3500 markup on a 2017 Ultra limited.

No problem silver. Do you still have all the other cvos? I would love to look around your garage just from some of the pictures you have posted. I love my 16 cvo sg and not sure if I will ever part with it, not saying I wouldn't buy another bike just wouldn't trade this one in.

Have a 17 CVO M8 with 12000 miles, no issues. For a new design motor they have been incredibly few issues..

My riding buddy's M8 motor grenaded 2 weeks ago, bad oil pump. Wish it wasn't so!
