Using my Garmin or the Infotainment GPS on my CVO, for 5 yrs I've used the Harley Ride Planner... just save it as .gpx file and import it by data cable or Flash drive.
Just set your route then save it as an HD file using the selector. Make sure to zoom in on waypoints to be sure they are on the road to avoid skipping waypoints on the HD.
Can also share routes with friends through the site so anyone on the ride can download the route.
