Default Anti Freeze
I have a 2014 Ultra CVO Limited. FLHTKSE an I use regular automotive anti Freeze in it? If not is there a particular anti freeze should use? I do not live near a Harley dealer and it would be a lot easier if I did not have to ride 3 hours to a dealer to get anti freeze. only need about 1/2 a cup to top off the tank.

I use the auto zone anti freeze of the same color. As far as A HD dealer in FL they are all over the place

Yes, you can. No big deal, as long as you put in the same formulated anti-freeze. Hint: look at the color. Get pre-mixed if possible, if not, use a 50 / 50 mix.

I try to use the same that I put in my vintage 63 VW bug. That way I don't have to buy 2 gallons.

Well......... green is green and orange is orange. They are different in their chemical composition. The green will eat your cooling system up if it is suppose to be orange. Maybe, not right away, but , it will.

he was being facetious. a 63 bug doesn't use anti-freeze.....

OP, all I know is you should be able to get to Lakeland Harley in about an hour.

Old threads indicate this is the same as HD stuff.... per there MDSS paperwork. What I use.
