Must be stupid, but I cannot put a security code on the new CVO. I follow instructions in the manual, but the odometer does not change. Any suggestions?
when you say 'cannot put a code in', are you referring to entering the pin override, or changing the pin override? makes a difference as they are different procedures.
if you are trying to enter the pin override, don't have your fob with you. if you are trying to change your existing pin, you must have your fob with you.
Using instructions in manual and trying to input my own pin on the bike. I did have the fob with me and could not change the pin. Not sure if a pin was ever input.
So, after about the tenth try, using same sequence every time, I was able to change the code.
Hey robbie52, I'm also having trouble changing my PIN. When you were following the procedures were you using the Kill switch (on the right handlebar) to cycle from Run-Off-Run-Off-Run? is the inforsystem turning on and off each time?

I responded in your post. I used the kill switch to cycle ignition following instructions in the manual. I think I cycled the switch fairly fast, the time that it worked.
