Yeah, a few people have tried to suggest this. One issue.

This is one of the very reasons I want the XM radio. Cell reception sucks in the mountains but you still get the bloody XM radio. No, problem not only not solved, it's worse. I'd rather have an overheating XM module any day of the week than depend on cell reception. THE, singular, reason I have the XM radio. Holy cow people must be nice to live where cell reception is universal but that does not include a good chunk of the US.

that's great but all you need to do is take 10 seconds and refresh it, saved to your phone and never have signal drop again. Always new content and you can even listen to the hole album if you like. I live in Montana so this works really well with little to no cell service. And it goes everywhere I go without being charged for different vehicles...

You are clueless I update my phone all the time. However there is much of the USA with out cell service. I do refresh my phone but if their is no service to connect to, then it has no connection. The white areas there is no service. Sorry you can't understand that.

No music from cell streaming when there is zero cell service.......So my XM is a much better option, or my play lists.

A cell is worthless with no service. I live in a rural area with limited service at best, most of my neighborhood has no cell service from any company. Sorry you are unable to understand if you do not have cell service, you can not stream music.

Quick update... I posted a couple weeks ago that the dealer updated my system to the latest version. It worked well and did not overheat the next few rides. Last week I removed the outter fairing, checked all of the connections and moved the antenna next to the vent. 150 mile ride yesterday in 93-96 degree weather and no issues at all. A combination of back roads and interstates no service interruption or over heating.
Thanks to everyone for the imput
