On other bikes I have ran D&D and other somewhat loud pipes, not sure I want loud really loud this time, I would like to find a sweet spot (I kinda enjoy cruising and listening to the music and the exhaust)
He makes 3 sizes of baffles, 1.75 the quietest, then 2.00 and then the 2.25 the loudest, which are not loud compared to D&D. I run the 2.25. Can cruise all day at 75mph hear my music and just a little exhaust until I twist the throttle.

He is coming out with or may have a 4th size now the 2.50 which would be the loudest, but the bigger you go the more your torque loss below 2700 rpm.

No need for a tune with just the baffles. Ran my 17 CVO street glide with just the baffle 25000 miles with no issue at all. My wife put over 40K on her 17 with them and no tune, no issues.

To my knowledge they are the only company that has this finish on mufflers. This is a pic of my bike with a full system in "eclipse" finish, it has a little more gloss over the bronze colored stock heat shileds but circled in the top left is the muffler that is a match to our heat shields/front forks.
This is exactly what the info I needed, so if I keep it 4” I can use factory heat shields...

What am I missing between 4” & 4.5” performance or other wise, is there a noticeable difference?

Generally speaking 4.5's have a deeper tone and 4's may be a tad louder. I had 4 inch magnaflows on my bike but I like the look of this new system with 4.5's better, I fills the saddlebag cut out better and I wasnt crazy how the heat shields looked on the muffler from behind. The khrome werks muffler I circled in the pic are 4.5 and they have the matching bronze colored finish.

Fullsac baffles are made very well and retain your mufflers and heat shields. They come in 1.75 quitesty, 2 inch nice rumble and then the 2.25 which I used to run, they sound amazing... True Harley sound with the looks of oem...

Forsch Performance 4" Angry Baffles slip on ...made in Canada so you'll do well with the exchange rate @ 1.35ish. Aaron (owner) used to work at Reinhart then went solo.
Matte black finish with custom dark gold/bronze anodized end caps...they were one offs he had finished by a shop in the US (Long Island IIRC). He said they're the only pair in existence - too cost prohibitive to sell at retail but they do look fan-tabulous with cvo heat shields.

I too have the 2020 CVO RG and went with Fullsac 2.25". I'm a physician and cannot have overly loud pipes. I'm very happy. The fullsac are louder than stock but really noticable when you get on the throttle. They are really well made and very affordable compared to the other options. They leave you stock pipes, and the heat shields, completely intact. They did take me about 2 hours to change them out. There are plenty of youtube vids to show you. I'm very happy with them. Also, I didn't do the full headers because I thought that removal of the cat would impact future smog certs (california) - which I'm now told is incorrect info. I'm told that if you install their headers that removes the cat and the system is louder. in that case, they recommend 2.0" for the same volume - but have no personal experience.

You dont need heat shields on your mufflers for a quality finish like the 4.5 Rineharts, the stock heat shields are fine for the headpipes. I have the Rinehart Motopro 45 on my cvo and they sound fantastic with the 131 upgrade. They sounded good even before I did the engine upgrade, now it sounds like a bad *** Harley even compared to the several 110 twinkies I've owned.

The heat shields in question is for the bronze colored finish in the CVO, if you keep the stock headpipe with those heat shields your only option to match it is 4inch mufflers with stock muffler shields or Khrome Werks 4.5 which has the finish on them.
