Seems to me the CVO models have become kind of bland. Compared to when they first came out, with special paint, badges, screamin eagles, etc. What would you consider the best years?
I've seen many CVO's over the years I really liked. The original Breakouts were off the charts! For touring bikes the 2009 and 2015 were two model years I really liked and would have been proud to own. But my favorite and what I see as one of the last real paint jobs that HD did is our 2017.
Spiked Olive / Serpentine Green / Carbon
I've owned shades of red, black, silver & blue. Loved them all but have never got as many compliments on a bike as we have on this one.
