Needs a little help.
I was in the shop yesterday and I had a push broom leaning against my work bench. I walked up to work bench and my foot caught the edge of broom, threw it backwards and DRILLED my front fender. After a few expletives and a touch of nausea I removed the fender and proceeded to work the dent out. Got about 90% out. Decided to try to tap out the balance. Shazam!!
Because of a complete lack of talent and intelligence, I bent it the other way. My fender is now at my body guys shop ( where it shoulda been it the first place ). Anyway, what I need for help is a paint code. 2019 CVO street glide. BLACK FOREST. Harley wont give codes. Will only sell the paint which I dont mind buying , I just dont want to wait for 6 weeks delivery. Any help would be appreciated.
thanks in advance

Buy the paint and wait, or order a new fender and wait. I don't think you are going to have much choice. Painted parts right now are about 6-8 week wait as well. Why not just put it back on your bike, order the paint and have it fixed when you get the paint? A dent isn't going to effect your ride. My CVO currently has a lot of cosmetic damage that needs to get fixed. Shipping company damaged it... It is what it is, I have to wait until things are available. In the mean time, I'll continue to ride until the paint and parts get here.
Good Advice, once Im done pouting thats probably the correct course. Outta curiosity, are there ways to get Harley colour codes?? Would be fun to have.

Even if you get the paint code, the formulation is proprietary. But companies like Colorite have done a good job at cloning most colors..
I showed this post to my wife because I always stand my push broom up with the handle end on the floor, and the bristles leaning on the wall so they don't get bent back. My wife constantly moves the broom to another location when she see's it because she is afraid it will fall and hit one of my bikes. While yours is not a funny story at all, it hit home with both of us. Best of luck with your repairs and enjoy the riding season...
My painter buys the paint from the company that paints the CVO's. They are right here in Milwaukee. You can buy the paint directly from Harley as well, but you have to buy a quart at a time and it's VERY expensive. He can buy a pint of paint from the company that paints the CVO's. Sorry I don't recall the name of the place he said. It was 3 letters. You order from them by paint name. In my case Orange Lava... Not by paint code.

Trust me... when my bike finally was delivered (and then I saw it was damaged) I was beyond angry. Now... I'm good. It will get fixed and all of it is cosmetic. So I'm riding while I'm waiting. My painter actually told me to just bring my bike by and he can airbrush it and make it like 90% better. Ride for the season and bring the parts in during winter when you aren't riding it anyway. I'm debating on doing that. There are a couple parts I had to order that I will put on when they get here.
