I am new on here and was curious for some product recommendations for my 2007 Road King. It has just over 12k miles on it and no upgrades done to it that I know of. The first two things that I am really interested in doing are the exhaust and lighting.
For the exhaust I want something that is simply louder. Much louder......I like something with a good low rumble to it if possible.
For the lighting I am looking to upgrade all the lighting to LED's. The brake light is a tombstone style, of which I find it very difficult to find an LED version of.
I am also interested in doing engine work on it later. Looking to do throttle body, cams, heads, etc.
Any help in the exhaust and lighting would be greatly appreciated.
I assume it is a 2007 FLHRSE. If so, it was the 1st year of the 110 motor. Do you have any info on any maintenance items on the bike by the previous owner?

Previous owner had three CVO's and never rode this one. Had less than 5k on the odometer when I bought it. He was very meticulous with his rides though. Anything that would have been needed before I bought it he would have done.
I used to be an ASE Master Certified Technician, and follow maintenance schedules to a "T".
Thanks for the list of recommendations Yellowbird! I have heard about the lifters issue, and I hear them from time to time as well....... I will probably add more upgrades to the engine since I will have it torn apart anyway.
Thanks TracerBullet! Looking forward to learning more from everyone on here and hopefully contributing some as well.

Reason I asked is the first generation 110 engines were apt to have different issues from the common lifter issues etc. I had a 2007 flhrse and this forum was on fire back then with cylinder liners slipping and base gaskets leaking etc. I was lucky, I put 20k trouble free miles on my roadking before I traded it in.
So far I am lucky, as I do not have any leaks. Just the noisy lifters and every now and then the speedo and tach stop working and a "bus error" message comes across the odometer. I'm not too worried about it as it is intermittent and I can judge my speed based on gear, RPM sound, and sound of wind past my ears.
I would also check crank run-out before investing too much.
Listen to Yellowbird....consider full exhaust, tuner (with proper dyno tune), cam and cam bearing, valve springs. I would add valve guides as well (might as well do heads).
The early 110" were prone to these issues. I have a 2008 and did all these upgrades and haven't had any issues.
