I also like the Hades Red Road Glide Limited but would rather have the chrome option. My 2018 CVO Limited with 65,000 miles has held up pretty good, but was looking forward to the chrome option this time.
I believe that back in the day there were some "S" models that had the 110 motor the same time the CVO's had the 110 motor. So I think this isn't the first time this has happened.

The Low Rider S debuted the 110 engine in the 2016 model year. That is a twin cam engine. The First model year for the M8 was 2017 in the touring bikes to include the CVO models. The CVO for 2017 got a 114 the other touring bikes a 107. Then in 2018 The CVO got a 117 and the specials a 114.
So yes, 1 bike for 1 model year shared the engine. That was Harleys performance oriented bike.

I would assume now that many of the bikes have the 117, not only does it devalue the new CVO's (which they want a mind for), but it will make the used ones drop even further in value as well. Guess I'll have to get the 131 in mine so it stands out... lol...

The CVO's have 117 and so does the Low Rider S, Low Rider ST, Road Glide ST and Street Glide ST.
Since 2016 there is less and less to make a CVO stand out from the rest. The engine is no long a stand out feature for sure

I hate black fork legs. Have them on my current bike, they look like **** after a year and 20K miles. Replaced once under warranty. They look great new, but do not hold up like Chrome
@FLSTFI Dave I have the EXACT same issue. I will never get powder coated front forks again. I didn't know you could get them replaced under warranty. Maybe I'll hand them some cartridge inserts that day also...
Anyhow - they look like ****. Maybe a warranty claim might fix it for another season. My '17 FLHXSE had chrome front lowers, with painted upper covers. Looked great and even after they bisected a bambi. front fender - needed replacement though...
