2019 SG CVO - USB Connection
Hey y'all. I just recently traded in my 2016 Street Glide Special for a sweet 2019 CVO Street Glide. I used to attach an old iPod to the USB connection inside the little doorway on the dash, but on the new bike it is telling me that my iPod is too old. They don't sell new ones, and my phone doesn't fit inside the box. Yeah, I know I can do bluetooth, but I'd prefer to save the battery on my phone and use a separate device for music. So what do you use, if anything?

Jump stick/flash drive but I'm retired and have plenty of time to move downloaded, purchased online and personally owned music onto flash/jump..
I believe you could run a usb port to your saddlebags where your phone would fit.

Had the same problem whenI went from a ‘16 SGS (GT 6.5) to ‘19 RG and GTS. Only Harley would make it non backward compatible. Anyway I wound up using an old POS iPhone 5 as a dedicated music player with a stick as backup. Works great. Or you could buy a new iPod Touch which will probably work but I wasn’t willing to spend $200 to find out.
