We all know that MOCO was going to cutback on production, guess we’re starting to see this. Really sucks.

Every bike CVO or not is assigned to a dealer. Based on sales and some others under the table deals.

Ridercvo- Dealers cannot "order" CVO's. Phase 1, Phase 2 etc. Not sure why they wouldn't want to trade for one for you unless they do not have a CVO to trade. Dealers make more on CVO's and as you know they are limited, so to have another dealer give one up without getting one in return is almost impossible. I would call around to see if any dealers near you would be willing to find what your looking for. Best of luck

Its been like this since 2009 at least, I am pretty sure longer.

Some dealers only get a couple, some dealers never get one, some dealers get several, and a few get lots. It based on how many bikes you sell, and how many CVO's you sell and the rating of the dealership by the MoCo.

With COVID, Supply chain issues and the New CEO's vision dealers are getting less of everything

The dealer swap and trade program has changed from how it once worked.

Update - dealer will be getting CVOs in May. Looks like the bike I want will be in the batch. Now it’s wait, wait, wait.

No sir, was never on my list. While I’ve seen a couple of them and they’re very nice, I’m waiting for a Wicked Orange. It absolutely glows in the sun.

My bad thought you are started this thread with a question about Envious Green. I see now you were waiting on the Wicked Orange. I agree it is an awesome color. Congratulations again..

No worries ****. My dealer has the demo truck for the next couple of days, and the bike I have on order is available for a ride and it’s totally awesome in the sun. The red Dante Fade is my second favorite color. My bike will arrive in 2-3 weeks, I’m so stoked.
