Default Limited bar options on CVO?

I need bars that have a better hand/wrist angle (when hand/arm is extended, I need my hand slightly turned in, or in other words, pinky side knuckle on my hand a little lower than pointer finger knuckle, not straight across. Elbows NOT out, if that helps with visualization). While looking at bar options, so many bars say “not CVO compatible”. For those of you who actually work on bikes, what is it about the CVO that so many bars are not compatible? I’ve asked many and I’m basically being told “because it says so”. I want to know why. Anyone know?

Not sure why, but just a guess is because most if not all of them have heated grips. Maybe most of the aftermarket bars do not have the required openings for the wires that are ran through the bars? Again... Just a guess..

I think some of the issue may be the internal wiring for the heated hand grips. Getting that bunch of wires through a bar and a few bends can be a challenge.

I have done about 12 CVO bikes in the last 6 years for myself and friends and all bars were KST 12" and 14" bars either Mayhem Bagger or their most recent edition Bison Bagger. That thicker Bison bar makes the wire pull much easier.

My suggestion would be to look at the KST and maybe ask around at your dealer and see if you can find someone with these bars installed and willing to let you sit on a bike and feel them out first. There are used trades sitting at dealers if you search hard enough.

Good luck in your search, it's not easy and can be expensive. Maybe look for a large bike rally where some vendors have displays available.
