Don't get me wrong, as a guy born in Norman, OK and raised in Austin, TX, a bike whose colors change from red to orange is kind like perfect for me. But a l'il bit o ghostflame on the fender tips and leading edges would have sent this baby into the stratosphere. But I'm on to pipes and intake and machinery now. I'll let my chrome and performance mods do the talkin'!
Perhaps if the silver or CC color had more irredescent sparkle.
I just got mine, the silver is remarkable in the sun, almost blinding. As for the heat, I just put on a set of RJS deflectors and they do the trick for me.
Deflectors will protect my leg but it won't solve the heat problem. They are on the master listthough, and the list just keeps growing and growing and growing.....
I'm happy with my choice however and I'm beside myself with glee that I'm getting one.
Now, If Mr. Teerlink would be kind enough to approve my matching sidecar, the whole family wouldbe as happy as pigs on a hog!
so far, I'm not a fan of the '08 colors........... I'm really glad I bought an '07 SE Springer!
Is The color you speak of the copper and black ? I think that color is fugly But the New C.V.O. bikes on the outher hand look very nice Espcialy the 2008 C.V.O. S.E. Springer Black with scaliped marblised look with gun metal grey Engine block and the Air cleaner ,I have to have for my bike the Sh*t looks mighty nice. To bad it wont run very long!
It's the 105 anni...Copper and black certainly marks the year but it's not the most attractive . I really dig the whitegold color mix. There's a whitegold and blue RK that really makes the chrome jump out. I rode by one the other day and found myself staring. You'ld never know from the website, So hard to capture the pearl gold gilt of the white. But it's one of my favorite additions.
