No sir. When I ride I know it is the only one of its kind in Oklahoma. 500 made world wide. Number 47. With mild rebuild 165 HP, 187TQ. Now when I am done with my Fatboy it will not be an Expensive cookie cutter either. If all I pull is 115HP, 125TQ when we are finished then that means I ****ed up. Nice looking bike sir just a little small but nice
I owned a 2014 Rocket 3 Roadster for a few years and man that bike was a hoot to ride. Amazing how well balanced it was for it's size. Put lots of miles on it... Enjoy and be safe... Larry P.
Being able to afford something is not equivalent to having the dealer gouge you! I refuse to play the msrp markup game so I joined the rapidly growing ex cvo owners group, lol. The last time I had a metric in my garage as a second bike was 2004, it was a triumph rocket. It was also the year I bought my first cvo.

without going true custom, a cvo is a pretty damn cool bike....value is subjective
i honestly don't think you're off your rocker by saying they cost too much, but I ain't gonna lie, i'd have a hard time settling for something other another CVO one day....I'm into 'em....don't think I'm alone....a couple others here seem to like them too

I agree. The MSRP on my 22 CVO RG is $15K more than a RG Special and I didnt pay over MSRP either. It would be easy to put $10K in custom parts on the Special and the return on that when later sold wouldnt come close. Personally, I like the way that HD set up these CVOs and theres nothing I want to change, except for the common add ons like back rests and that sort of stuff. My 4th Harley and the first one Im leaving stock.
I like the looks of most CVO'S. The problem I have is the price. I place $30,000.00 plus and rebuild a 2010 fatboy I will have one very nice bike. It makes no sense to pay over the manufactures set price. A extra 2-5 thousand is a rip off. Sure there are people that will do that am not one of them.

I used to be like you, lol! Ive owned 8 cvos since 2004 but not now. The only one that appealed to me out of the 2022 lineup was the Dante Red Fade and paying $53k before mods is crazy. A friend of mine bought a 2022 Envious Green road glide custom for not much more than msrp, now with a tour pack, customization and audio, he is pushing $60k. Its worth it to him, not to me.
I have owned 5 CVO's so far, all purchased from the same dealer at MSRP. I don't think I would pay over MSRP for any motorcycle, but that's just me.. It's what a person can afford and what makes them happy that counts... Enjoy!!
I've only had used Harley-Davidsons. Maybe someday I'll be able to afford the nicest of the nice and have it brand new. Until then, appreciate what you have and don't envy that which you don't. If someone showed up at my house right now and gave me a 15 year old bike that was paid for and all mine, I'd be just as happy as if someone gave me a brand new one. Motorcycling is about riding, not about what bike you have (that said, you won't see me on a motorcycle with a radiator or reverse!).
